The SIES Board of Directors has established this award to honor the memory of Dr. Crescenzo Di Donato, a strong advocate for the importance of education in Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr. Di Donato, in addition to being a member of the SIES Board of Directors, held the position of Director of the VALET School of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Bologna for many years.
The award will be given to students of the CPMA-VALET School in Bologna, selected by a special committee that will admit the six most deserving professionals who will present their work.
The SIES Commission will evaluate each work presented, awarding points based on the following criteria:
- Originality
- Applicability
- Presentation
REGULATIONS
Art. 1 The award, to be given to graduates of the CPMA-VALET School in Bologna belonging to the last two years, will consist of:
- TROPHY WINNER DR. CRESCENZO DI DONATO AWARD - ED. 2025
Art. 2 The award is granted by the SIES Board of Directors, on the proposal of an examining commission composed of the current President of the Society, the Director of the CPMA-VALET School, and three members of the Board of Directors. The commission's decision is final. Ex-aequo designation is excluded.
Art. 3 Five graduates of the school (last two years) who will be pre-selected during the School's examination can participate in the competition. In case of refusal by one or more selected candidates, the other candidates will be automatically included in order of ranking.
Art. 4 The Commission will evaluate the presentations at the congress venue, awarding points based on their own judgment.
Art. 5 The results of the evaluation will be announced during the XXVI International SIES Congress, which will be held in Bologna from February 20 to 22, 2025. The winner will be awarded during the ceremony that will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, during the closing ceremony of the Congress.
Art. 6 Competition winners can only receive the award IF PRESENT AT THE AWARD CEREMONY.

Art. 8 The presentation of the works implies consent to the processing of personal data by the candidates, which will be used exclusively for the purposes of managing the selection. The provision of personal data is mandatory. Any partial or total refusal to give consent will therefore make it impossible to pursue the aforementioned purposes. All personal data communicated will be processed in accordance with Legislative Decree 196/03 and GDPR 2016/679.
