Built in 1975 to a project by architects Melchiorre Bega and Lieuwe Op’t Land, the Palazzo della Cultura e dei Congressi is a major example of a work of contemporary architecture designed to promote a sense of unity and belonging and to allow ease of communication between the various sections.
Inside it features halls of various sizes. In particular, the Europauditorium is an elegant multifunctional space recently refurbished with a total capacity of 1,700 seats, although various sections can be partitioned off to create smaller spaces with either 550 or 830 seats. With its technologically equipped stage and perfect acoustics, it is the ideal location for high-quality musical events.
It also has large foyers that are ideal for hosting exhibitions, social events and other initiatives in a prestigious setting.
