The SIES Board of Directors has established this award to honor the memory of one of the pioneers of Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. Enrico Follador, a member of the SIES Board of Directors, who always emphasized the importance of EBM in Aesthetic Medicine.
The award will be given to those who present their work in the form of a PERMANENT REPORT, i.e. posters accompanied by video recordings of their presentation.
The PERMANENT REPORTS will be displayed inside the gallery between the Palazzo dei Congressi and the EXPO pavillion for the entire duration of the congress, and the related videos can be viewed simply by scanning a QR code on the poster itself.
The SIES Commission will evaluate each work presented, awarding points based on the following criteria:
- Originality
- Methods
- Iconography
- Clinical relevance
REGULATIONS
Art. 1 The award will consist of:
- TROPHY WINNER DR. ENRICO FOLLADOR AWARD ED. 2024
Art. 2 The award is granted by the SIES Board of Directors, on the proposal of an examining commission composed of the current President of the Society and 4 members of the Board of Directors. The commission's decision is final. Ex-aequo designation is excluded.
Art. 3 All presenters of works that will be included in the congress program under the heading PERMANENT REPORTS can participate in the competition.
Art. 4 All presented works will be evaluated.
Art. 5 The Commission will evaluate the works by meeting at the congress venue, also taking into account the degree of interest of the presentation based on the unique viewing contacts and the total viewing time. The commission's decision is final.
Art. 6 The results of the evaluation will be announced during the XXV International SIES Congress, which will be held in Bologna from February 22 to 24, 2024. The winner will be awarded during the ceremony that will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, during the closing ceremony of the Congress.
Art. 7 Competition winners can only receive the award IF PRESENT AT THE AWARD CEREMONY. In order to limit conflicts of interest, members of the SIES Scientific Committee will not be allowed to compete for the award.
Art. 8 The call for competition can be found on the website www.siescongress.eu.
Art. 9 The presentation of the works implies consent to the processing of personal data by the candidates, which will be used exclusively for the purposes of managing the selection. The provision of personal data is mandatory. Any partial or total refusal to give consent will therefore make it impossible to pursue the aforementioned purposes. All personal data communicated will be processed in accordance with Legislative Decree 196/03 and GDPR 2016/679.
